Who writes here
I’m Mathilde Riehl. I grew up in Sélestat, at the foot of the Vosges mountains, and I’ve been up to the castle more times than I can count: by bus 500 with my class, on foot from Orschwiller, by car with friends passing through who wanted to “see Wilhelm II’s castle” before leaving. Over the past few years, I’ve been answering the same questions from visitors, so I’ve gathered them here.
What we do
We read travellers’ reviews of every castle tour, check the durations, departure points and what’s actually included, then write an honest assessment: who the tour is for, and who it’s not for.
